This past Monday, we had our end of term dinner. It’s a tradition in Classics that goes back a few years, a chance to get together and celebrate surviving another term of university, and to take our minds off of looming finals. Unfortunately I couldn’t be there, and the consuls are currently absorbed by the aforementioned finals. But here are some pictures of how I imagine it went.
As always, they got together at the Three Kretans, a wonderful Greek restaurant in Kitchener. The three consuls, the student society executives, have organized the reservation.
Students come together and chat about impending finals.
While ordering delicious Greek food.
Professors attend as well, enjoying an evening of respite from their overfull end of term inboxes.
And everyone winds up in the same place, relaxed, full, happy, and ready for tomorrow.
